We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of WSM Tech within our Mid-Continent group based in Dickinson, North Dakota.
The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for the overall coordination of data entry for all well downhole activities into Oxy Well Maintenance data base. Responsibilities include monitoring well daily information for data input, identifying and reporting software problems and working closely with a Well Service Team to optimize correct and timely data entry to ensure maximum efficiency and cost effective performance. Other areas of focus include working with contract data entry clerks to ensure timely and quality data flow, creating and maintaining data reports to assist Business Unit of possible opportunities to help reduce failure frequency.
Qualifications:
Minimum high school grad or G.E.D.
Project Management skills
Ability to read and analyze data to identify trends and generate effective solutions
Effective communication skills, demonstrated ability to lead efforts to coordinate problem solving and reviews with other team members
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft programs
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
Additional Preferred Skills:
Some familiarity with oilfield downhole operations
Familiar with LOWIS software
Training will be available for specific downhole skill requirements.
