Chief Waste Water Plant Operator New position Temporary Housing Available Four Day Work Week This position is responsible for the oversight of the operation and maintenance of the city's Wastewater Treatment Systems. Will assist in assuring compliance with the monitoring, sampling, and reporting requirements of the city of Dickinson, ND Dept of Health and the US Environmental Protection Agency. The City of Dickinson, ND Wastewater Reclamation Facility is a brand new 3.6-9.0 MGD IFAS mechanical wastewater treatment plant. The plant includes screening grit removal, clarification, UV disinfection, and a new administration building with a full lab. The treated effluent will be recycled for use at the facility and for industrial purposes. Requires an associate's degree in Business Administration, Biology, Microbiology or Environmental Science and three years experience. Wastewater Treatment class IV Certification required within three years of hire. Class B CDL with proper endorsements required within 90 days.
