As our CT Tech at CHI St.
Alexius Health Dickinson, you will help capture usable diagnostic images from patients so the Radiologist can accurately diagnose and/or rule out different conditions.
Every day you'll create cross-section images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs.
You'll perform a variety of specialized technical tasks associated with the operation of CT scanners and related equipment to assist the radiologist in the detection of anatomical abnormalities.
You will also need to enjoy working directly with people as you play a huge role in the patient experience.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging.
This includes knowledge of the general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and capturing clear results for timely and accurate diagnosis.
This is a full-time, weekend rotation position.

Responsibilities Perform diagnostic procedures such as computed axial tomography, magnetic resonance, interventional radiology, mammography, sonography, ultrasound, and/or nuclear medicine and PET Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the imaging order Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.
Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.
Qualifications Associate's Degree or equivalent.
Graduate of an Accredited School of Radiology North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy State License (MRAD:
ND) RT (ARRT) (R) RT (ARRT) (CT) to be obtained within 18 months of start date.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Preferred:
1-2 years of CT experience.
