Seeking a Mid-Level Supplier Quality Engineer CONTRACTOR to join the Supplier Quality team.

This is an autonomous position, therefore, the candidate must have the ability to work from home or a supplier location.
Leads audits and assessments of complex supplier''s systems, processes and products.
Documents and reports audit and assessment results.
Delegates product acceptance responsibility to suppliers.
Assesses capability and capacity of suppliers to perform current or potential future work.
Provides education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives.
Develops training materials and other resources to support improvements in supplier performance and productivity.

Position
Responsibilities:
o Plans, organizes and conducts audits/assessments of supplier's systems, processes, and products o Documents and reports audit/assessment results o Performs product verification to assess compliance to applicable requirements o Assesses capability and capacity of suppliers to perform current or potential future work o Investigates and resolves concerns to ensure compliance with requirements o Provides education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives to develop and improve supplier performance and productivity o Performs data analysis to determine engagement st gy at suppliers o Reports status of supplier performance o Ability to plan, prioritize and manage daily assignments o Participates in Program and Production Readiness Reviews at suppliers Required Skill Set :
o 3
years of experience working in Quality, Supplier Quality or Supplier Management o 3
years of experience in Quality / AS9100 / Aerospace Quality Processes o 3
years of experience in data analysis and root cause corrective actions (RCCA) o 3
years of experience performing data analysis using excel o 3
years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawing, or specifications o Experience with Microsoft Office Products:
Word, Excel and Power Point o Must possess a valid Driver's License o Corrective Action; o Manufacturing; o Organizational Skills; o Quality Assurance; o Quality Auditing; o Quality Control; o Quality Management System Desired Skills Set :
o Experience with hands-on inspection of product o 1
year of experience using Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) Tools o 3
years of experience in the Aerospace Industry Education Qualification :
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.
g.
Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.
g.
Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.
).
