CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson part of CommonSpirit Heath a national nonprofit health system based in Englewood Colorado. The faith-based system operates in 18 states and includes 103 hospitals. Additional services offered within the system are:
long-term care assisted and residential living communities community health services organizations home health agencies and numerous outpatient facilities.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides care of the ill and injured, and performs under the direction of the physician and professional registered nurse. The LPN applies knowledge of basic growth and development in patient care; incorporates knowledge of the nursing process and the professional standards and contributes to the evaluation of patient needs; and provides care based on the physical and psychosocial needs of the patient.
The new graduate LPN cannot perform duties related to intravenous medication administration until experienced for 6 months and after compilation of the IV Certification course.
Responsibilities
Identifying and managing a patient crisis until RN / physician assistance is available.
Identifies practice abilities and limitations according to Scope of Practice.
Obtains instruction, delegation and supervision by an RN
Recognizes and performs duties which are needed even when not directly assigned.
Administers medications accurately and safely:
following five rights, monitoring adverse effects, reactions, therapeutic responses, toxicity, and incompatibilities.
Reports occurrences/complaints, following appropriate chain of command.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Nursing Education for Licensed Practical Nurse from an accredited nursing program.
Required Licensure and Certifications
Licensed Practical Nurse licensure in practicing state
BLS
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training
Preferred 6 months experience in clinical settingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
